(from MEN ABOUT TOWN)
__________________________

Seated next to each other on a stalled subway train are Roxanne, whose cell phone keeps her in touch with the outside world (and whose conversations keep people on the train highly entertained), and Frank, who begins to realize the subject of her conversations… is him.

The entire play is a monologue: the ends of Roxanne's telephone conversations show us a woman striving to hold onto her rapidly deteriorating world. Because Frank has no lines, his part, though smaller, is particularly challenging.
